I'll just point out that in the UK and most of Europe we don't see a reason why this should be reciprocal. You can quit at any time, but you also can't be fired without a reason if you've worked at a company for more than 1-2 years. It doesn't stop people from firing bad coworkers, and it appears to have no negative effects on employment. |
