Even if on average most citizens are peaceful, it only takes one ambitious lunatic to tip the scale in the wrong direction [cue Trump/Putin/Kim]. While I don't necessarily agree with the large US military spending, I feel better knowing we have more national defense than necessary rather than not enough/just enough. |
