That's my main issue with Linux, hardware support is always a couple of years behind. Although at some point it catches up and probably surpasses Windows (I can't stand using my touchpad with the official ASUS drivers), this limbo period with less than stellar support is a PITA. It sucks that you have to carry around the extra weight of an NVidia GPU that's never used though. |
