C is still useful to know, its not nice and clean and modern like Rust but C11 has some new useful modern parts. When I was a kid you had to be in the know to know about open source, I didn't have the benefit of seeing lots of other people's code and looking at projects back then, wish I did this ia a great environment for learning with all the free online resources compared to the late 80s BBS era. |
