I think the comment your replying to is saying that, if you have the passion/desire/drive to become a doctor, having a basic income can help that person get there. Especially so that they don't have to work as much while also going through rigorous schooling. In addition, those jobs would still be good jobs on top of the UBI. Depending on how the implementation of robots plays out, they may be the only jobs if you wanted to make more than the living wage. |
