Dunno, this has also been useful. Imagine a scenario like UAL811: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Airlines_Flight_811 You are downstairs in your bed, when the cabin depressurizes and you can't move around. The depressurization also damages the flight controls, making a clean landing unlikely. The unclean landing occurs, the plane catches on fire, and you burn to death in your bed because "regulations are silly". |
