People like me use it as a lightweight option to stay abreast with whats going on with friends and family without having to invest in a long call or email. You may think I don't care, but I do- but its hard and time consuming to call 50 people and ask 'Did you go somewhere this summer? How was it? What did you see?'. Instead I just 'like' when I see a cool picture they share and when I call them I can start by saying 'Wow- you had such a good time in Paris- why don't you visit us next year?'
