Worse, in order to belong to this body you might have some particular ideology shoved down your throat about how computers ought to be programmed. We can't have a professional accreditation, because there is no right or wrong best practice in computing. Obviously, making programs that are buggy and incomplete w.r.t their specifications is wrong, but if you don't do that, there is no one right way. |
