It is clear that Apple does consider the desktop dead. As far as the MBPs go, I'm not sure what the hold up is. If they just kept changing out the internals with the latest Intel had to offer people would still complain, but at least be buying recent stuff. The other option would be to lower prices as the hardware got older, but that is not Apple's way. My 2014 MBP runs fine, I just would not want to pay the new 2016 computer price. |
