There's potentially an interesting discussion to be had here about the technical and political effects of ham radio during disruptions in "official" centralized communications systems, e.g. during a coup or counter-coup crackdown. That's exactly why I've been flagging. The discussions are almost identical with some conspiracy theories, how Turkey is going backwards and how much Erdogan sucks. This is just r/WorldNews level stuff right there.
