Ask HN: Are you in a rotating saving group

Hi all,

Am creating a group saving app and would like to do a survey on how you manage and run your ROSCA's. If you do not know what a ROSCA is you are probably not in a developing country and can read about them at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rotating_savings_and_credit_association and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chama_(investment) .

What I would like to know is below :-

1.) How do you decide when to meet

2.) Do you lend cash to group members and is there interest

3.) Do you use money collected for a particular purpose/investment or do you just give the cash to each member after some period.

4.) How many members are you

5.) If an app was to be created for such groups what kind of features would you require

6.) How much do you collect per person?
