I found this a thought provoking post, but the true value was that "senior" means different things at different companies. A senior dev at Oracle will need a vastly different skillset than a senior dev at a startup.

(The Venn diagram is a nice starting point, though.)

So, when you are looking at jobs or hires, always consider the context.
