The last company I worked for was a horror story from hell.

On my interview day, the manager of said company passed me in the hallway without stopping to acknowledge me, because he had to go out on a personal errand; this despite the fact that I had an appointment and was expected. When he returned and after my interview with him, he took me over to the owner who hired me immediately without reading my three page resume( "too long") at a less than competitive wage ("because the other guy ho you'll be working with is earning that amount.")

The work environment was filthy, the staff were insubordinate and the manger had a system wherein his favorites ratted on other workers.At the onset, I was cheated of one weeks wages due to an accounting quirk peculiar to the company. Everyone there was actively looking for other jobs. Pay was often late.... I could go on.

I stayed on for far too long because I needed the money.When do you think I should have quit?

The signs are always there.
