I like that we can choose between transactional and promotional messages in order to optimize for high delivery success rate or cost savings.

There is still a lot of dependency by the carriers to adhere to this which most do not. They have no systems in place to differentiate. So while you may think your message is transactional, it may still get blocked for spam because the carriers aren't smart enough to know the difference.
