I feel that may be a little unfair. Maybe he comes from that subject, maybe that seemed like the best word to describe his effort?
I don't have the feeling that this is a corporation trying to bamboozle us with marketspeak.

He is French from Paris and yes in this context polyvalent === flexible.

Polyvalent in French rather means someone with multiple competencies, or something which can be used in more than one way.

That's what I thought. So maybe we need to work on the word flexible, and apply it to his library.
