Seems silly to pay thousands of dollars to read through some books at a slow pace. My employer wants to pay me to get a bachelors in ee or cs (have half of one, but dropped out when it was clear I couldn't afford to finish), followed by a masters/phd, but it's only tangentially about the 'education'. It's all about networking and being able to wave around credentials. |
