- you seem to all be working on a very narrow notion of what predicting means Again, the original article is about a program "better than people" at predicting explicit coordinates. Whether the brain is predicting in some more abstract way is an interesting question but more semantic since such other ways aren't necessarily testable. |

I think that implies that "reacting appropraitely and quickly to movements" is different from predicting. That's what I was responding to.
