The EMC reference is probably to UniK[0], which provides a Docker-compatible API and can be used under the supervision of Kubernetes or Cloud Foundry. I was happy to see UniK, because I've long seen unikernels as an "architecture-buster" for Cloud Foundry. Yet in practice the shift to Diego made it much less painful than expected.
