In our 6 week summer holidays we did the following: 1 week visit grandparents, 1-2 weeks other vacation, rest time spending time outside, building treehouses, playing in the mud, doing stupid things, chilling at the lake, going swimming, bike tours, camping with friends. <-- my summer in a box.
