My Yamaha R6 ($12k CAD brand new) was backed into by a car and the damage was mostly cosmetic but the parts and labour to fix it all still ended up at $9k. The problem is that paying for parts and parts replacement piece by piece is significantly more expensive than buying a new bike (or a car) as a whole. |
