If I had access to Python and the REPL, preferably ipython, I don't think I'd even need the Internet.

Yup - our really good developers would do this end to end in < 40 minutes and without needing anything.

But the range of times was stunning. There was a lot of people that managed to pass, but it was a three or four hour exercise (I'm willing to chalk some of that up to nerves or overthinking the problem).
