I'm honestly considering whether this article is not purposely trying to argue over a bogus premise only to later warn us to take what we read online with a grain of salt. I mean, to pose the question "why on earth would people want to highlighting verbs" as an attempt to prove that syntax highlighting is unnecessary is not even close to be a good try.
