I think there are a lot of misconceptions about nodejs in this with people who are not familiar with it, i belive it will always be easy for any backend developer to work with node than a front end dev, as there are database interaction, networking concepts, api development and many more things that a front end dev has never worked with. And since when is other people learning to new tech and making progress a bad thing.
