At least in Germany there is a lot of suspicion against US companies in particular since the Snowden documents. Surveillance is a very critical topic in Germany since in the 20th century there were two dictatorial regimes on German terrain that used surveillance methods. One of them only ceased to exist for little more than 25 years. |
