The current education system is broken, yet it's designed to prepare people to the real world, which is even more broken. We can't fix education without fixing the rest of society. The system is so complex and inconsistent, we simply can't expect a kid that keeps what makes him good (curiosity, honesty, idealism) to thrive in the real world. |
