I agree with you. I'm not trying to say that exoskeletons lack applications, just that the whole 'power-loader' concept is a bit silly. GE wanted the user of the hardiman to be able to pick up a 1.5 ton load and walk around with it. There aren't that many applications that require a 1.5 ton load to be 'walked around.' And yes, the orthotics market for exoskeletons is very big, and largely ignored, one. |
