I'd also recommend trying a third party client. I love Twitter but I
never
use the official site or apps. I use Tweetbot on iOS and Mac (Osfoora is also good on Mac), and Fenix on Android.

When it works. It often just doesn't for me - no links clickable, no content loads on scrolling.

I moved to using Tweetbot for both iOS and OS X and haven't looked back.
