I very much disagree with this article. I was able to take some courses in Eastern thought, but I think the major problem of this article is how the authors define philosophy.

It seems like the authors are confusing the terms theology, culture, and philosophy. Yes, there are major problems with the way that philosophy is taught in the modern university. This attack, however, is unwarranted.
