You may not be sticking up for Patrick, but you are sticking up for something. In the absence of an attack, it's unclear what.

What makes it an attack? If what it says is true, it sounds like Patrick also engaged in an attack. Why isn't he so vehemently sanctioned?

I read the linked post. Patrick wasn't even addressing Mz or a comment of Mz. On the face of it, it looks like Mz read too much into it.
