4 years self-teaching programming (web)while studying biology.
1 year interning and training with C# (wanted to get experience with a static-typed language before going all-in in software development)
2 years in the web game industry (dev).
3 years in the e-commerce industry (dev, then lead). One thing I'd change I guess, is working more on side projects to actually build things, and get computer science knowledge sooner.
Other than that, I'm quite satisfied with how things turned out and there are a lot of experiences and people I met that I wouldn't trade for anything else, so, I'd keep things the way they are. :) |
