This is an article about how people are using url shorteners for the wrong reasons and/or not using security on private data.

It shouldn't be easy to misuse a shortener that is built into a service like OneDrive.
Until today I had no idea what OneDrive is, so I'll take your word for it. I would suggest that the problem is that access to the OneDrive resource starts and stops at the URL. Conventional security protocols are conventional for a reason.
