Last time I checked Microsoft was threatening Android phone makers with patents, many of those being related to Linux itself, collecting billions in patent royalties, being in essence a patents troll for the whole mobile industry. From where I'm standing, this seems no different than the Microsoft that funded the SCO lawsuit or that has spread FUD about Linux and open-source for years. So do tell me, how did Microsoft change? |
