This law is very politically touchy. Outrage happens all the time for many different things. Plenty of people are willing to stake their very lives, let alone their livelihoods, over issues they believe in. If anyone doesn't need more publicity, it's Bruce Springsteen. He has it in spades any time he wants it. |

No it's not. Only McCrory and some of the state government supports it. Basically, very literally everyone else from city governments, the state AG, other state governments and the Federal Government, grand standing celebrities and the state population are against it.
This is an incredibly safe position to take. No one is staking anything to take position against it.
