I also want to thank my parents for buying me C64, my first computer, especially during the time when my family wasn't doing so well financially; I can't ever be upset about giving tech support to my parents. It reminds me of a C64 TV ad of a student who had to drop out of college because he didn't have computer skills to be competitive (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDcZeGbElnM). Somehow, it all seems relevant now, as C64 gave me a start on programming. |
