I have absolutely zero evidence for this, but I'd bet large sums of lint from my pocket that this article was discussed by a Facebook PR person and an EFF person. It's the kind of thing that happens all the time in the industry, but it's precisely the kind of reason I find the EFF to not be worth sending money to. |
