Ask HN: What success are you getting with the “Seeking Freelancer/Work” threads?

I have tried these threads without much success and was wondering what kind of success other people were having with them and also what services/skills you have and provide. Please put in the following format (so all readers can see how relevant it is to them):

Amount of time posting to the Seeking threads (months?)

Skills/Services (eg. Python Django developer, Ruby on Rails or Create CI pipelines for software development companies)

Feedback (ie. Business is going great, lots of clients around, Demand has died down, Difficult to get clients until you have a strong brand...)

Recommendations for others who want to get in/are in the industry (ie. for freelancing it might be: Go to as many developer conferences and network from there)
