> If YC takes 7% for 120k. It seems 1k is worth about 0.05%. What YC brings to a startup for their 7% is 120k + advice + connections + the YC brand itself, so just 1k will be worth only a fraction of 1/120*7% of the company (I'd say, about a half or a third, maybe even less). |
