> If people didn't want web notifications, they wouldn't have been explicitly added in to the specs. Web standards aren't a democratic process that all the web users vote on. They're defined by a consortium of companies each with their own special interests and agendas. Pop-ups were allowed by web standards and we've gone out of our way to build tools to prevent them. |
