I'm starting to understand yours and everyone replies. I think what I had in mind is that I'm accelerating relative to a point on the treadmill, and therefore my entire body is accelerating. I can't wrap my head around the fact that we're still considering the ground as the frame of reference. I know that the treadmill moves on its own, but what if I push the surface of the treadmill to make me move forward. Wouldn't I not know the difference between a sidewalk and the treadmill ? |
