No spam here... we don't even send a thank you email when you join the site. We're about to be live in a week or so, and are just creating our pre-launch list. If you have no interest, simply don't opt-in for more info :)

when you get 500 karma you'll get a flag button. Meanwhile, you can email the mods at [e-mail] . You can also email them in egregious cases.

The idea of the ShowHN is that we can try it. It's not very clear what is available after registration, but I'll not volunteer to put my email there.
