it's pretty interesting especially for those of us who are creating analytics tools on top of postgresql, the increase performance would certainly permit less denormalized work-around , like creating "manual" aggregate directly in the database (with all the problem of keeping them in sync with the rest) and I'm still here waiting for 9.5 to arrive in RDS of amazon :( |
