Seeing some recent posts of salaries for people at Google etc in what seems to be mostly California the numbers seem very high to me. I know cost of living can have a large effect on salary and I'm curious what developers are making up here in Canada, specifically the Toronto area. I am I suppose what you would call a senior developer (still only my 1st real job out of school, but have been promoted since I started about 2 years ago). I'm currently making $75k base and with bonuses and pension/stock matching it comes out to around $90k. |
