The German word for “staple” is »Tacker«, which is onomatopoeic. If you wanted to say that two cars crashed, you could use: »Zwei Autos (prallten|krachten) gegeneinander.« Both »prallen« and »krachen« are onomatopoeic. Onomatopoeia is common in German as well. |
