True, but how do you quantify the work? Real world on AWS is Buy X capacity reserved Buy Y capacity spot instance Buy Z capacity on demand to fill in the peaks And it becomes a function of putting in more time = cheaper total bill. GCE workflow is: Buy the instances you need, bill will work out at the end of the month. |
