I'm guessing this is not the case. If I were to hazard a guess, the tact was chosen because there's been an uptick in single women (notably, for the first time in US history, more adult women are single than married). There are other facets to look at, but this might be the most visible in terms of expected social change from the feminist perspective I was brought up with. |
