I use SmartGit every day and like it very much. I'd be happy to answer any questions about it - except for a direct comparison with SourceTree, since I haven't used the latter. WRT your "still waiting", SmartGit does list all your repos in one panel in the main window, and you can select any of them to work on without switching windows. When you view the log for a repo it opens in a new window, but you can do most work directly in the main window. One thing about SmartGit is it's definitely not a "dumbed down" GUI - for most of what I do it feels more powerful than the Git command line, not less. SmartGit is a commercial product if you use it for commercial work (it does have a 30 day trial), or free for noncommercial work. |
