At least he's being clear about it, unlike big shops that silently display higher prices to users on iDevices compared to desktop/Android users.

I don't see the problem here. Apple cultists are clearly happy to spend way too much money for something, and they obviously have lots of extra cash to spend, so it makes perfect sense for businesses to charge them more.

I remember seeing a report about this on German TV where they had a big shop's product page loaded on both an iPad and an Android tablet, showing clearly different prices. I don't exactly remember which shop it was. Might've been Amazon, but I honestly don't remember.
I know a MAJOR uk holiday company about to roll this out. The managers think they are being so clever with no consideration for the inevitable PR clusterfuck.
