To be fair, the economy is both so heavily regulated and so stagnated that it barely counts as a free market anymore. Part of the problem is that nobody is willing to fight the "priests", as you put it. Why try to beat those massive banks? They have far too much money for you to ever defeat them. But having that much money and nobody to make them work for it is precisely why we need new banks to compete with the old ones. |
