Why wouldn't the government just get a warrant to have you decrypt whatever communication they'd like to see (if you're being investigated) and if you don't you are held in contempt of court? Of course if all communication is encrypted it would be harder for a government to get a warrant but I think that's probably more in line with the 4th amendment. |
