Yep, I'm not ignorant of those kinds of stats, I just dispute the interpretation. Patriarchy is ideology not fact, and a divisive one at that. Its a narrow combative view of gender interaction that does more harm than good.

Since everyone is getting into the concept of the patriarchy here and how it is the damnation of Western civilization... I'd like to point that the to my knowledge these developers are from China.

They're not even a part of the same cultural gestalt.
